Its a Offical Staff Truck for the shop
Its a offical shop truck now...few minor things to tidy up then its driver time....Well I had old Bob Kini "bikini" come down and put a few accents and letter the doors 60's style today.Old Bob is world famous round these parts he's been stripping and lettering since the early 50's....... Also check the rods and bikes logo....Old Bob is a little corny he asks what do you think of that..I said man looks cool...He goes you dont get it do you...Its a bobber. Most of the goofy bike guys are calling every thing a bobber so I thought it should be part of your logo...and starts laughing...It suppose to look like a fishing bobber...Must be all the paint fumes from over the years,,,lol

Acid-Reflux tripping swap meet find today
paint signed "by crazy paint"
Picked this panhead roller up at the Springfield Oh swap meet....Good Seeing ya Craig and thanks for the lunch.
Gonna part it and use some pcs for my pan...Frame isnt too bad but a little work on the frame table for a few fixes and I will possibly save it for a rainy day...Neck is good and under the moulding the key lock still intact.....most of the molding is tacked on 1/8 plate so it should come off easy.

Remember the eighties.........
Another one Bites the dust....Sunday was help a friend in need day....My good Bud Randy D aquired a late eighties custom job shovelhead. Last fall it was bought by Randy and he has been doing some parts gathering.Well the time has come for it to rise outta of the ashes of 80's leaving kool and the gang,Blondie and all other things eighties behind...I think the plan of attack is a traditional styled resto fl look..Randy D has a pretty good eye for cool so with the help of some friends and his eye it should be a cool scoot....with a timeless look...
The tear down starts......
Randy D and his Pops tearing her apart.
And a few hours later we have a frame ready for blasting and a small pile of keeper parts and a big pile of go away parts....
Stay tuned as I will try to post up some progress of his bike as it comes together.

New Years Day Ride Tradition continues
Well every year since my daughter was two years old we have gotten up on new years morning and went for a ride. Ten years later the tradition still continues.I figure there is no better way start a new year than with a ride on the scoot.
This year being no different. Some years its been 50 degrees but less more than not its usually ass kicking cold. Yesterdays ride temp was a warm 19 degrees. So we went about 4 or 5 miles and then it was time to warm up....
Happy New Years and hope its better than 09
