You Can Raise them Right!!!!!!!

How cool is this my daughter is in a youth group and they decieded they were gonna have a 10 mile bike ride yesterday through the country to a farm cabin and cook out and pond swim...Well all week long I kept telling her I would go get her a 24 inch mountain bike to make the ride easy.She said no way dad I am riding my restored Stingray..1969 slick chik with 2 spd hub.I kept saying okay but I told my daughter you've never ridden anywhere close to 10 miles..Dont care dad I am riding it.
Well we had a few trucks and a small trailer following and keeping the group in line...40 kids...92 degrees at 2 pm and we were off.She made it about 6 miles and had to go for about 2 mile rest in the truck and back at it.I am really proud of here and that she made it about 8 miles total..She was the hit of the crowd being on such a cool bike....with all others on modern road bikes.... :D

Running in circles.........

I always loved the tether cars of days gone by...... Just a bit before my time they have always fascinated me.The styling of early hotrod and champ car looks.....Quite the suprise as a young person back in the day would have been to recieve one for a birthday,Christmas or any other event that came up that required recieving something.

Bonneville Update

Talked with Diesel.....From the ZON....and he has went around 125mph on his second or third run.....I think he is trying to run at least 140 plus...I will post more as the updates come in...Simply amazing that a 1950 panhead can run that fast...Also on another note the worlds fastest non streamliner bike is a Busa 265 mph and some change...thats smoking fast...

Sturgis Final prep for Bonneville....

The House of ZON has decended upon Sturgis this week.Tonight Brad is putting the final touches on the pan for Bonneville....He is headed out Friday to break Burt Munroes record...Watch out Bitches there"s a new girl in town.......Panhead this year Darwin Streamliner next year ...Stay Tuned for lotsa updates on this.....\

New addtion to the famalia........

Well like I needed a 6th motorcycle.......But I am a bargin shopper and this was a bargin...so I guess I had to buy it....First motorcyle I have ever owned with a gas gauge and fuel injection....not sure I know how to react to that...It kinda looks like a grey beards bike but it rides and runs great and has never been apart.Probably gonna leave it this way for awhile.
