Well she is back on the ground with a new set of shoes and a upgraded and lowered suspension. She could be lower, but this truck is a driver and a utilitarian vehicle for the shop. So function over form on this one………

Merry Christmas
In Germany/Austria, Saint Nick and Krampus go around like a good cop/bad cop team. Krampus, a whip carrying, horned goat demon, with a long red tongue takes the naughty ones, while Santa Claus rewards the good ones. (Hopefully there are no naughty ones out there as Krampus has some whipping switches ready)

Wishing For a warm Summer Day
Tis’ the season to be upgrading…Did a little trading and upgraded from the evo powered Road King to a twinkie powered FLH Standard bike with a lot of power adder parts and this one even has a radio….Cant wait for summer, especially since I am sitting here watching it snow again with a crap ton of snow on the ground already.
So here is to good times and summer riding that is just around the corner.

The New Familia Hauler
Some of ya remember the econoline shop truck? We still have her but she aint practical for all three of us. So Like I needed another car/truck but what the heck....Shes a baller, rock and roller.....A real mean hauler..... :D
Really like the econoline but there’s a new girl in town….
One week ago after purchase....gotta see past the late eighties directional mags and nose in the air stances.
After a all day marathon and a bolt pattern change...lowering job and a good going over She is now ready for her next stage a respray of lemon pearl satin yellow to hold me over till she can get a complete top notch job...Also picked up a quick release dodge caravan rear seat for my daughter..Trying to make her a good over the road hauler. A/c heat is in order as well...Goal is to have her standing tall for the drive to the salt next year.
She has a new 383 sbc,trans and 12 bolt rear...She is a runner. 8)

Back at it finally……..
Lots been going on since late summer. Working hard taking care of family business since my father passed. Its not been much fun and working on getting my mother in good shape and on her own has been a challenge.
But enough about that……. Good news is the shop is moving to a more friendly area as far parking, room and just a nicer building.
Maybe in the future this may become a full time gig and the change is needed…Gotta give a big thanks to Matt Young and Dave herr for helping me move all my crap last weekend. You dont realize how much crap you have till you have to move all of it.
So i hope to get back at it and post up some photos and stuff….

How to make Your rear look Sexy
Well I had been kicking around some mild customizing ideas for the back of the Merc...Well Heres what I came up with. I had about wrote the rear bumber off as it was bent twisted and banged up. So I figured if I could hammer cut and weld it in to something and if it didnt turn out scrap it...Also the plate mount was ugly and I wanted a long lower look for the rear.. Started with this.
And ended up with this. I Hammered the bumper straight and made a recessed pocket for the plate in it...next I removed and filled the old gas filler hole in the rear body panel.Next was the rear lamps for a much lower look I removed the tail lamp assys and cut off the back up lamps section and added to the qtrs to make it have a lower more folling rear....Now on to the front end ....
